110V DC preheating power source
The HG-110-16-2 portable heater is a temperature-controlled and power-regulated supply station for resistance heating elements or mats operating at 110 V DC, controlled via a PT100 magnetic sensor. The unit was specifically developed for mobile construction site use with temperature-limited heating mats. It is designed for continuous operation and features two independently switchable heating circuits controlled by a common temperature controller. The maximum heating output of 3 kVA is distributed equally between the two heating circuits (1.5 kVA per circuit), ensuring a trouble-free preheating cycle. Internal temperature limiters protect the heating mats against overheating. Integrated temperature and overcurrent monitoring protects the heater from improper use. For improved and more even heat distribution, the two heating circuits can also be used to power four smaller heating mats with a total output of 630 kVA. The necessary heating mats and connectors are offered as accessories.
Areas of application:
The heating unit is designed for preheating with temperature-limited resistance heating elements or silicone heating mats. It is used for the flexible heat treatment of smaller components and surfaces up to approximately 450 °C (via fiberglass mats) or up to approximately 150 °C (via silicone heating mats). Its robust construction makes it particularly suitable for use in harsh environments.
